After surgery

The patient remains in recovery for quite a short while and leaves when he/she feels well. The ophthalmic surgeon will provide the appropriate eye drops for use at home after surgery and give appropriate instructions. It is important that the patient should not rub the eye after surgery and not allow water to enter the eye for a week.
