Fluroangiography:
Photograph taken two minutes after instilling the dye
which is depicted in white. The small white dots that can be separated in
different areas are microaneurisms. The cloudy appearance of the retina is
due to the leakage of the dye.
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
The OCT is a medical imaging system that allows the analysis of the
retina in the area of the macula and beyond, in various cross sections.
The examination is quick and painless without the need for injecting
any dye in the blood steam.
